Where does the licence data come from?
Straight from the ACMA Register of Radiocommunications Licences (RRL). Claim your business by ABN and every licensed site, licence and device is pulled onto your map and kept in sync — no manual data entry.
Can I map unlicensed links, not just ACMA licences?
Yes — that’s the point. The manual link builder models any point-to-point hop with its band, centre frequency, width, polarisation and TX power, whether it’s a licensed microwave link or an unlicensed 5 GHz backhaul. Both sit on the same map and feed the same conflict checks.
How does conflict detection actually work?
When two assignments at the same site overlap on frequency and occupied width, it’s flagged. Pre-flight warns you live while you build a link; standing conflicts collect in a severity-ranked inbox. Opt into Spectrum Commons and you’ll also see hints where a neighbour’s sanitised assignment sits near yours.
Who can see my data?
Only your organisation. Every tenant’s data is isolated at the database level. You control access with owner / admin / editor / viewer roles, and read-only share links let contractors or clients view a snapshot without an account. Spectrum Commons is strictly opt-in and only ever shares band, frequency and a coarse location bucket — never your exact coordinates or site names.
Can I get my data out?
Always. Export to CSV or GeoJSON, download a full JSON backup and a ZIP of your site photos, and open it all in a dependency-free offline viewer. No lock-in — your data leaves with you, per organisation.
Is there a self-hosted option?
Yes. Enterprise can run the exact same application on-premises or air-gapped, with offline licensing and one-click updates — suited to utilities, government and other security-sensitive operators.
Do I need a credit card to start?
No. The Free plan gets you a live map for one ABN with no payment details. Upgrade only when you need more sites, conflict detection, multiple organisations or SSO.
